"...Reckon yourself..." <-- That's the key. We may not have arrived but the promises are sure! We need to battle sin with TRUTH. Christ died for you --> You died in Him --> You are united w/Him --> You are justified in Him ---->>> These are the truths that we need to tell ourselves when the temptation of sin takes captive of a member of our body and uses that to convince us that the fleeting pleasures of sin are greater the the promises of God.
